Other thoughts on the design of the 6 slot map device

Of course, anyone can shout that “the presented design is not optimal”, and offer their own design. I would like to suggest improving what is already there.
Let's think logically. Usually everything starts either 1 map + utility, or 4 pieces or 5 pieces (forget about 2-3 legions). 1 slot for map only, 5 slots for fragments/scarabs only. This is both convenient and visually pleasing, and you can add effects depending on what level the map is in the slot. If scarabs not only stay in a slot, but change the interface around the slot, that would be absolutely fantastic. The only problem with this idea is that the fifth and sixth slots open later, and the player will want to go to content that requires 4 slots for fragments before that.
