GeForce Game Ready Driver Version: 555.99

I installed a new nvidia update, after that the game freezes at the download point and I press the game shuts down and there is a notification that the game is not responding. I've tried everything to make it work. the only solution I can find is to install the old update 555.85 it works

anyone know how to fix it?

It's always nice to install new things and expect updates to work as promised or intended especially if there is a feature update for a newly released game.

However, if your current drivers are not causing you issues and the new version isn't providing anything special for your card or specific game, then there's usually not a reason to update the gpu driver. Checking the release notes on each driver is not a bad idea.

There are numerous issues reported across many forums (here, reddit, nvidia official) by users and most of them have resorted to rolling back a driver version or even a few versions to something that is stable and performing as expected. The best way to do a video driver roll back or installation is with DDU, but it's not always a necessity.

Why would you install a newer version again if you said the fix for you was to use the older one?
