Resolution Problem after update

Hello, I'm having problems with my resolution configuration after last update,
Before, when I used to play in windowed Fullscreen I putted my favourite window resolution like 1280x720, just clicked save and everything was fine, but now, after the implementation even when I choose a different resolution and press save, the resolution comes back to 2560x1600 automatically, even when I don't want it.

My laptop is a Predator Helios Neo 16 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900HX 2.20 GHz,
GPU RTX 4060
32Gb RAM

This is a video showing the problem

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you

You can't pick that option after you pick the resolution you picked because it's higher than the window resolution option so the resolution revert back try without picking that option

just pick the resolution you want from here

or keep it at 2560x1600 and downscale it to 1280x800

Because it's Windowed Fullscreen, the window resolution is the same as your screen resolution: 2560x1600.

The Render Resolution options appear to provide the same behavior that you were able to achieve previously: having lower resolution for the game display, without changing the window size or resolution of the UI elements.
Hi, thanks your answer,

I tried what you said, but even just picking the resolution option is getting me back to the highest resolution.
Same or similar problem, changing the resolution does not change the resolution.
Confirming selection of resolution via the UI does not change the resolution.

Changing the resolution via production_Config.txt does not change the resolution.

Changing the 'Render resolution' to lower of the displayed resolution, does not change the resolution.

Changing the resolution used to work...

locking the .txt file to 'read only' dont work either btw.

Poster above was correct, borderless windowed does not apply resolution changes.

Changing to fullscreen applies resolution changes, as well as UI and text changes.
Not exactly the same as what it was, rather difficult to read text too. And the UI snaps resolution to a higher value despite locking the .txt file to read only on the selected resolution....
So a dynamic file for engine functions.

*frustrated gurgle*
Windowed Fullscreen ignores whatever "custom" resolution you put into it and uses your monitor's reported resolution.

It is best NOT to change this off of the maximum.

Yea just tested it too, the windows resolution doesn't change on windows borderless however the downscaling option work as if you put it on 50% you notice the blurriness.
