Sao Paulo (BR) server problem

It's been a while that I am getting random sudden disconnects from this server.

I am Brazilian but getting a more stable connection from a US server. Why?

Because of the route your connection is taking is probably very different between these two locations.

There's been a lot of issues reported here related to the route to the BR server location.

When you're having these issues (guessing it's high ping or packet loss to BR), run this test... then run the test again to the US server. Feel free to post the results here.

Thanks for the tip. There's a node with big packet loss.

https://pastebin.com/E4QtxMsD

What could be done in this case, I wonder.

Edit: also tested Washington server route, where I get stable connection. There is also packet loss in the middle. So, weird.

I don't get high ping on Sao Paulo server (15 ms), but I get disconnected very often. Washington is 145 ms, but almost never get disconnected.

So the one node you're referring to:
ebt-B1902-core01.spomb.embratel.net.br
showing 70% PL is considered a non issue as it appears to simply be deflecting the packets or deprioritizing for higher priority traffic.
Ping requests are very low priority. If the packet loss does not continue all the way to the end of the route, then it's usually not the issue.

I'd keep this as a tool to be run when you do experience issues and compare the results.

If your connection history to Washington location is always stable and never disconnects, then it's probably safe to assume that your stability to BR is caused by something along the route.

Hopefully you can get a more detailed capture of a route issue to the server with the WinMTR app and update this post.

I personally use an app called PingPlotter (free version).

Here is an image from another post on this forum where a member was having high ping, packet loss, and connectivity issues (also BR server) clearly shown in a WinMTR test:

This was a WinMTR to a São Paulo server from a post in this thread:
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3517802/page/2

This is clearly showing roughly where along the route the issue is starting for this player.

This is for reference to hopefully help point you in the right direction if a routing problem is causing your BR server connectivity issues.

Feel free to post back here.. I'll check in every so often.

Hey, thanks for your reply.
I tried to reach support by email but they don't give technical support anymore, sadly.
So it leave us users to solve the problem. Which is insane.
They should have the responsibility to contact their server to sort things out.
