crush debuff/effect, is there any use for it?

I can see a mace mastery that says "crush enemies on hit". Whenever I apply this in my POB it doesnt chance my DPS at all, is there any point to it?

Crushed lowers Physical Damage Reduction by 15%. It's useful when enemies have PDR. Your PoB likely assumes they don't.

Since you already have enemy physical damage reduction mod in the passive tree, Crush debuff will only be useful against monsters with high PDR (armor).
