Fire "Trigger" weapon for "Cast On Crit" builds
Hello everyone!
I would to ask , what do you guys think about this minds. So , we have right now a few unique weapons with "trigger effect" https://pathofexile.fandom.com/wiki/Trigger For example it's : For cold spells And it's : For lightning spells this is most popular items with trigger effect and mostly popular in "Cast On Crit" builds Also we have for example: For some phys builds. And : For fire buils , but unfortunately i'll be honest , last 2 weapons it's trash. So , back to question what i wanna ask. What if , we will have something for example "Mace" maybe some "Behemoth Mace" https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Behemoth_Mace kinda cool for Fire "Cast On Crit" builds with Battlemage and trigger socketed fire spells or something like "trigger level 10-20 fire ball" or some emplify fire spells. Its really cool idea! Sadly game has no "true" trigger weapon for fire spells like mjolnir and cospri.

Yup , Poets pen still good and it's for any spell type but , would to see something specific for fire spells :P

By the way I have a couple build ideas with some "fire trigger" one handed weapon , but unfortunately I cannot test that coz we don't have it =(
Without weapon "on paper" it's kinda fun builds and not squishy. |

uh.....hold on a sec.
Ngamahu and Saviour are......trash?!?!?! I'll admit, ngamahu has lost a lot of its old "flare" (pun intended) but it is STILL a really cool item to make an explodey ignite build around. And Saviour is STILL simply one of the single greatest physical weapons in the game. The problems are not with the WEAPONS, but rather with other issues such as physical damage limitations and spell power. A triggered attack, even a bow attack, is not going to be anywhere NEAR as powerful as a spell trigger because of game balance, not weapon balance. Neither are ever going to be BiS, but to say they are trash is to either have zero experience with them or completely misunderstand how they are used. That aside, triggers are an ongoing issue with PoE, speed, and balancing. There are WAY too many ways to trigger things in this game and frankly they should be removing them rather than adding them. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE playing with them.....but I can still see the damage they wreak on the game. Almost every build nowadays needs at least 1, usually 2 "trigger" setups and that is NOT good. You think something like cast when damage taken setup it's not good thing? Weird , coz ppl usually and mostly use those gems for make his builds more comfortable. If you mean that trigger , or trigger from helmet? Like "press one button and have 4 curses on boss? With anathema ring for example?

" I see it very differently: triggers MAY have been used by some for comfort, but the vast majority and ubiquity of use is because it has become mandatory to do so. This is NOT a good thing. It was simply the mark of a "bad" build to NOT have a cwdt setup, or a different trigger somewhere. Similarly, trigger effects like what you describe: "press one button and cast x skills" are another problem because they are just diarrhea on the screen and ultimately devalue the actual skill casting itself. I am not against ALL skill triggering, I just think it has gotten so out of hand and has contributed greatly to the speed meta issues that PoE has. Since the very very early stages of the game, triggers were used to pretty much "break" the game in terms of damage and bossing. EK x 4 triggers, rainbow builds, some really really crazy stuff. Triggers changed the entire development trajectory of the game (monster density, monster life, damage numbers, etc), for a while it was good, but now......its poison.
