Cortex - port out during final RP, no loot when back in

I received a trade ping when fighitng cortex

it was the last part when venarius says "Impossible! No! How???"

I ported out, completed the trade, went back in

the fight did not finish correctly. I was kept being pestered by some black orbs doing damage. Boss never dropped loot. "Map device" thing and venarius himself were gone. Portaling out and in did not fix. Map was brick.

This has been in the game for years and was implemented to stop potential abuse of respawning the loot. Applies to all encounters with delayed loot. Legion 5-ways, Maven Invitations, Cortex, etc. If you die or get a trade request while the boss is transitioning to loot phase (or if they are about to die from post-death effects), wait until the loot spawns and then resurrect or leave the instance freely.
