Yep, that's correct. Those gems have a normal level cap of 3 and when corrupted can still accrue experience and reach that cap. Have read wiki about gems again after years - and didn't found an upgrade method. So if u don't want to collect xp on the gem and use it (if possible?) the only thing u can do is " These options are only present in an Enriched Eternal Labyrinth opened with a Dedication to the Goddess : Transform a Corrupted Transfigured Skill Gem to be a random Corrupted Transfigured Skill Gem of the same colour: The Divine Font will sometimes allow the player to exchange a Transfigured Skill Gem into another random Transfigured Skill Gem of the same colour. Transform a Corrupted Skill Gem to be a random Corrupted Skill Gem of the same colour: The Divine Font will sometimes allow the player to exchange a non-Transfigured Skill Gem into another random Skill Gem of the same colour. from wiki I liked the old harvest recipe where u could transform the qual of a corr gem into gcp(s).
