Crystal Resonance Atlas Passive

Crsytal Resonance atlas passive doesn't give the map boss a new essence mod every time an essence monster is slain, it's inconsistent.

I have tested in multiple maps, for example in one map I have opened 25 essences but the boss only had 11 essences on it. Before the Essence Scarab of Calcification "bug fix" it was working consistently.
