80% or 100% chance to poison on hit?

I'm playing with Toxic Rain of Sporeburst, which has 40% chance to poison on hit. On the skilltree I got 2x10% chance to poison on hit + 25% chance to poison on hit + 15% chance to poison on hit with attacks.
Unless I'm mistaken that would be: 40 + 20 + 25 + 15 = ---- 100% But on my character sheet it shows  So which is it then? 80 or 100%!? Where is the bug here? thx Last bumped on Apr 23, 2024, 4:34:48 PM

you have 65% chance to poison from tree, 40 from skill, and 20 from herald of agony. (125 total)
which perks are not being applied to your sheet, no idea. but you have more 100% chance. consider adjusting some of your perks to take the poison dot multiplier nodes instead of the poison chance nodes. Last edited by Thror2k5 on Apr 23, 2024, 1:52:34 PM

I'm almost sure that you are looking at the default attack statistics - 60% from tree, 20% from herald.
If you choose the Toxic Rain skill it will show 80%+40%=120%. | |
