Life mastery that provides +15% maximum life is very restrictive

From what i assume and i know im right, they wanted to make balance for users who dont have flat life or % of maximum life increased on body armor.

The problem is their wording, as many parts of this game, where you have body armor as Brass dome that has 'life' tag but actually reduces your life due to no bonus from strenght. Or Fourth Vow that has life tag, but its regeneration not % or flat increase in life pool.

Its not balanced oversight from GGG's side and should be re-worded, something as If you dont have modifiers that increase maximum life. In many cases they just throw in that kind of things with not much thinking how it will work, mostly it affects players badly.
What would mr Siklic do if he was in this post?

What?

Are you saying that GGG doesn't realize that this mastery doesn't work with Brass Dome et al?

Uhhh... they know, my dude. The mastery works exactly how they want it to work. So this part:

is definitely something you should look at again because... no. Not even close.

I really like this mastery I wish more of them offered similar flexibility and opportunity and less of them were lame and undertuned or had too few options (DOT mastery and Bleed Mastery for example have 4 and 5 choices).

I think Brass dome and Fourth Vow have "life" mods because they are already very powerful this just serves to help make the choice to use them have a tiny little bit more opportunity cost. If these chests were marginal or seldom used chests I could see an argument for cleaning up the tags on them. But they are two of the most "tanky" armour options in the game.

Would love to see more mastery mods, notables and keystone that fill a gap create a new niche option or allow very different gearing strategies. Before that mastery there were a LOT of chest armours I would automatically ignore or write off. Now those are "on the table" so to speak. Chests that are already on the table don't really need help.
Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years.

Yep....and I would argue that Brass Dome and other top tier unique body armors are the FIRST THING GGG looked at before releasing this mastery.
