Beasts in Essence Monoliths not getting Essence Notable/Scarab Effects

Beasts in Essence Monoliths don't appear to be affected by Essence notables or Essence scarabs.

Setup:
All Essence Nodes on the Atlas Tree specced except Crystal Resonance
Essence Scarab of Ascent
Essence Scarab of Calcification
Essence Scarab of Stability
Scarab of Adversaries

The beasts do get trapped in an essence monolith, but they only roll Screaming and Shrieking Essences when they should have at least 1 Deafening Essence. I also think the Essence Scarabs do not affect the trapped beasts but unable to test.

Update: This appears to only be an issue with Red Beasts.
This also seems to be an issue with rare monsters added with the "#% increased number of rare monsters" map modifier. Hope they get this fixed soon.
Also yellow beasts added via tree nodes "Your Maps that contain capturable Beasts contain 1 additional Yellow Beast" do not get imprisoned by Essence Scarab of Calcification.

Can 100% confirm that red beasts still are not affected by Essence Scarab of Ascent, but yellow beasts are.

Calcification appears to work with all beasts. Additional yellows are all imprisoned by calcification and they are all upgraded by ascent.

It **feels** like there's something else wonky though, because I'm not noticing an increase in the number of essences per map. I would expect an average of 5 more deafenings (maybe 4 since you can get a corruption as the highest) due to yellow beasts (rares for calcification), but that's not at all what I'm seeing. While I can't be 100% certain, due to how flakey it is to test, I've been running this strat a lot, and adding beasts don't seem to be worth the atlas points.

Wish I knew what was going on. Definitely at least one bug (red + ascent), but I suspect even more with the beast essence interaction.

I've done more testing. I ran 20 maps w/o beasts and 20 with beasts (guaranteed by atlas). I took all beast nodes except those related to red beasts.

The delta in the results is pretty much a wash / within margin of error:

What was really noticeable is how inconsistent yellow beast behaviour is. I'm not sure what to attribute this to, but each run was done exactly the same other than map mods (same map, same tier, same scarabs, same map device, same 6 slots). Most of the time the yellows respected both the Ascent and Calcification scarabs, but not always. Sometimes there'd be yellows running around (not prisoned by Calcification), sometimes they'd have all low tier essences (not upgraded by Ascent), then sometimes it was a mix of both. Red beasts never once respected Ascent, but always seemed to respect Calcification. One time during my beast runs some non-beast rares didn't respect Ascent.

So yeah... probably not worth bothering w/ beasts. The profit variance was wider and I'm not really sure how it would hold up over higher volume (100 maps etc.). Plus they add time to your runs to wait out the net, and can be a bit rippy if you're running T16. Might get the occasional frog though.

This was really cooking my noodle today. Some essences were only going as high as wailing in T16 with ascent scarab and the high roll essence atlas node (can't remember the name of hand) and I couldn't figure out that the hell was going on. Everything makes more sense now. Hope this gets looked at at some point by ggg.
