New league Idea:

Corrupted Incursion League

Alva Valai once again requires aid. The creator of the corrupted chamber, now empowered, holds sway over those who dare enter the sacred temple.

"Greetings, exile. Have you ever pondered the fate of items that vanish before your very eyes? They are not destroyed; they are consumed. That Corrupted Altar, once freely utilized by all, served as a conduit to a much larger and unforeseen entity. Devoid of reason, this creature cannot discern between good and evil; its sole purpose is corruption and sustenance. I beseech you once more, exile, for a favour. This time, not for the treasures held within, but to embrace corruption yourself. Become tainted, become the feast of feasts, so this creature may reveal itself from the depths, whereupon you must vanquish it. We are kindred spirits, you and I, and if the prospect of saving the world from this burgeoning threat does not suffice, know that it lurks within the grandest chamber, replete with riches surpassing all that came before. Descend this time, into the abyss of the temple's darkest recesses. But heed this warning: should you lack sufficient corruption, entry will be denied."

Alva Valai will appear in maps as she always does but with a new message and a new mission. You will be given a choice to ascend or descend, ascending will give the same it always has except once you reach the top a double corrupted alter awaits behind the boss. The corrupted alter has been removed from the rest of the temple.

The new boss at the lower end of the temple starts with two corrupt version of The Vaal Omnitect, less room effects but trickier to navigate. Around the arena will be "Kalzelthia the Ever Hungry" empowering the Omnitects with speed and power and set stages. Once each Omnitect reaches 10% health they will be consumed. (boss design up to GGG but I do have a design to the entire fight).

Use of the new Corruption Alter:
1 -You will be able to double corrupt an items as you always have been able.
2 -You can now corrupt a Vaal orb for it to become a True Vaal orb (see below
for True Vaal Orb uses) at the cost of 10,000 Corruption
3 -Fill the Corruption bar by 1000 points.

Corruption bar:
The corruption bar can hold a maximum of 10,000, it will have several uses and three ways to fill it.



The bar can be filled by:

1 -killing creatures, normal creatures will yield 1 point, magic 2, rare 4 and unique monsters 10.
2 -Corrupting an item and it disappearing is considered consumed and will add 1-100 corruption to the bar randomly.
3 -Corruption Alter will allow you to fill the bar by 1000.
(all creatures in a temple will not grant corruption as they have already been consumed)

The bars uses:

1 -Spend with Alva Valai to open chambers in the descent of the Temple.
2 -Spend at the alter to gain True Vaal Orbs.
3 -Spend 100 corruption to corrupt an item the same as a vaal orb. 50% chance the item will be consumed returning the 100 spent and also adding 1-100 points randomly, 50% chance to corrupt an item with 1 Vaal implicit.

Bars effects and Unique's:

1 - Each unique monster in Incursion temple deal 0.1 less damage for each 100 Corruption you have.
2 - Each item has 1% chance to drop corrupted for each 100 Corruption you have
3 - Each item has 5% chance to be double corrupted for each 5000 corruption you have.

+(50-80) to maximum Life
1-2% less damage taken from hits per 3 corrupted items equipped.
1% more damage taken for each non corrupted item equipped.

An item that "cannot be consume" means it will never disappear when double corrupting, exchanging its chance to disappear to the same chance of nothing happening.

- 10 random Corrupted currencies (includes the tainted pool)

The Alter of Kalzelthia
Used on an uncorrupted item you will attempt to create a corrupted copy of any one item place on the Alter:
- 50% chance to create a copy of the item that is corrupted and corrupts the original. The items are not modified in anyway other then becoming corrupted.
- 30% chance you corrupt the original gaining a modifier.
- 10% chance to double corrupt the original gaining 2 modifiers.
- 10% chance to corrupt the original adding nothing

Used on a corrupted item will attempted to remove the corruption from the item but it is high risk.
- 70% chance the item is destroyed
- 30% chance the item loses corruption and gains the Protection mark.

Items with the Protection mark can never be corrupted again and can not be effected by the Alter of Kalzelthia.

True Vaal Orb

Using a True Vaal orb will allow you to double corrupt an item as you would on the alter. If the item is consumed this way you will gain 1-100 corruptions randomly. The True Vaal orb can also be used on other currencies to try and turn it into a corrupt version of its self, 50% chance to do nothing.
A new tab will be opened for Corrupted Currency.


Corrupt Currencies:

All Corrupt Currencies can be found naturally everywhere but have a much higher rarity. The chance of these currencies dropping is based on your current Corruption bar. eg: if you have 1% chance for a Corrupt wisdom scroll to drop and have 10,000 corruption, you would now have 10% chance for the corrupted wisdom scrolls to drop.

All corrupt currencies do not corrupt the items the same way a Vaal orb would, they each have unique corrupting effects and can turn the items corrupt.

Corrupted Wisdom scrolls and scroll fragments
Fragments work like they do with normal scroll fragments, having 5 will make one Corrupt Wisdom scroll. They drop randomly as a rare as Transmute orbs.
Wisdom scroll:
- 50% chance to ID all items currently in your inventory
- 30% chance to ID the current item and not be consumed
- 19% chance to do nothing
- 1% chance to consume the item for 1-10 corruption

Drops as rare as Alchemy orbs.

Corrupted Portal Scroll
- 50% chance to create a portal and not use the Corrupt portal scroll
- 30% chance to create a portal and not use one of the maps portals.
- 20% chance to explode dealing dealing no damage.

Drops as rare as Alchemy orbs.

Corrupted Enkindling Orb and Corrupt Instilling Orb
- 50% chance to corrupt the flask adding a corruption flask implicit
Implicit:

- 60% chance to corrupt the weapon adding 1-10 quality (to a max of 29)
- 20% chance to do nothing
- 10% chance to corrupt the weapon giving + 25% quality to a max of 25. also adding a new corrupted effects:

- 60% chance to Corrupt the armour adding 1-10 quality (to a max of 29)
- 20% chance to do nothing
- 10% chance to corrupt the armour giving 25% quality to a max of 25. Also adding a new corrupted effect:

- 50% chance to corrupt the flask setting quality to 25% and adding a corruption flask implicit
- 30% chance to use as normal, corrupting the flask without added effects
- 20% chance to consume flask for 1-10 corruption

Corrupted Gemcutter's Prism
- 30% chance to corrupt the gem setting the quality value to 25%
- 30% chance to corrupt the gem setting the quality value to 23% and adding one level to the gem.
- 20% chance it does nothing
- 20% chance it consume the gem for 1-10 corruption

Corrupted Cartographer's Chisel
- 50% chance to set the quality to 25% and corrupt the map
- 30% chance to corrupt the map randomly
- 10% chance to do nothing
- 10% chance to add a new modifier and corrupt the map:

Corrupted Transmutation orb
- 50% chance to upgrade a normal item to a magical item with one modifier being the highest rolled tier of the random modifier.
- 30% chance to consume the item for 1 corruption
- 20% chance to upgrade as normal

Drops as rare as chaos orbs.

Corrupted Alteration orb
- 50% chance to reforge a magic item to have new randomised modifiers, one modifier will be the highest rolled tier of the new random modifier.
- 30% chance consume the item for 1 corruption
- 20% chance to act as a normal Alteration orb

Corrupted Annulment
- 10% chance to remove 1 modifier
- 10% chance to remove 1 modifier and corrupt the item randomly
- 10% chance to remove 2 modifier
- 10% chance to remove 2 modifier and corrupt the item randomly
- 10% chance to remove 3 modifier
- 10% chance to remove 3 modifier and corrupt the item randomly
- 40% chance to do nothing

- 20% chance to upgrade an item to a corrupted unique
- 2% chance to upgrade an item to a double corrupted unique
- 78% chance to consume the item for 1 corruption

Corrupted Exalted orb
- 5% chance to Augments a rare item with 2 new random modifier
- 30% chance to Augments a rare item with a new random modifier and corrupt the item
- 30% chance to corrupt the item
- 30% chance to consume the item for 1-100 corruption random.
- 5% chance to do nothing

Drops as rare as Devine orbs.

Corrupted Mirror of Kalandra
- 1% chance to create a mirrored copy of an item corrupted
- 5% chance to create a mirrored item with 50% of the prefixes and suffixes rounded down.
- 24% chance the same item base with all new modifiers, each tier affixes are equal to the original, the item is corrupted.
- 30% chance to consume the item for 7000 corruption
- 30% chance to corrupt the item and not use the Corrupted Mirror of Kalandra
- 10% chance nothing happens.

Can only drop the Unique bosses in Incursion, are as rare as fractured orbs.

Corrupt Regal orb
- 50% chance to upgrade a magic item to a rare item and fill all empty spots
- 30% chance to upgrade a magic item to a rare item
- 10% chance to consume the item for 1-100 corruption
- 10% chance to do nothing

Drops as rare as Devine orbs.

Corrupted Alchemy orb
- 50% chance to upgrade a normal item to a rare item
- 30% chance to upgrade a normal item to a rare item and fill all slots, the item becomes corrupted.
- 10% chance to be consumed for 1-100 corruption
- 10% chance to do nothing

Corrupted Chaos orb
- 10% chance to reforge a rare item with new random modifiers, fracturing one modifier after the change.
- 10% chance to reforge a rare item with new random modifiers making one modifier an unveil
- 10% chance to reforge a rare item with new random modifiers, filling all slots and corrupt the item
- 30% chance to reforge a rare item with new random modifiers
- 30% chance to consume the item for 1-100 corruption

Corrupted Veiled orb
- 20% chance to remove a random modifier and adds a random Veiled modifier to a rare item
- 20% chance to remove two random modifier and adds a random Veiled modifier to a rare item

Corrupted Hinekora's Lock
- It will not remove the ability to foresee on use of a Currency item for each currency item used.
-70% chance to corrupt the item randomly for each Currency item used on it, this includes the Corrupted Hinekora's Lock.

Drops as rare as a Mirror. Can be dropped from unique bosses in Incursion temple.

Corrupted Jeweller's orb
- 30% chance to roll max sockets on an item
- 30% chance to act like a normal Jeweller's orb
- 30% to do nothing
- 20% chance to corrupt the item randomly

Drops as rare as Regal orbs.

Corrupted Fusing orb
- 30% chance to link max sockets on an item
- 30% chance to act like a normal orb of Fusing
- 30% to do nothing
- 20% chance to corrupt the item randomly

Corrupted Chromatic Orb
- 30% chance to turn all sockets white
- 20% chance to turn all colours to off colours to the item base.
- 50% chance to consume the item adding 1-100 corruption

Acts like a normal imprint orb but has:
-20% chance to forget one modifier
-30% chance to forget two modifiers
-20% chance to act like a normal imprint orb
-20% chance to corrupt the item randomly
-10% chance to consume the item for 1-1000 corruption

Drops as rare as a Devine and can also be dropped by unique bosses in Incursion temples.

Corrupted Catalyst currency
-50% chance to add random add a Catalyst at 22% quality
-50% chance to consume the item for 1-200 corruption

Corrupted Harbinger's Orb
- 20% chance to reforge a map item as another of a higher tier
- 20% chance to reforge a map item as another of a higher tier that you have not completed
- 20% chance to duplicate the map and then reforge both map items as another of a higher tier and corrupting both.
- 20% chance to consume the map returning 3 Cartographer's Chisel and 1-100 corruption
- 20% chance to do nothing

Corrupted Horizons orb
- 20% chance to reforge a map item as another of the same tier
- 20% chance to reforge a map item as another of the same tier that you have not completed
- 20% chance to duplicate the map and then changing one map into another of the same tier and corrupting both.
- 20% chance to consume the map returning 3 Cartographer's Chisel and 1-100 corruption
- 20% chance to do nothing

Corrupted Fracture orb
- 20% chance to fracture a random modifier on a rare item with at least 4 modifiers, locking it in place
- 20% chance to fracture two random modifier on a rare item with at least 4 modifiers, locking it in place and corrupting the item
- 20% chance to fracture a random modifier on a rare item with at least 4 modifiers, locking it in place and removing all other modifiers, turning the item into a magic one.
- 20% chance to consume the map returning 2 Fracturing Shard
and 1-100 corruption
- 20% chance to do nothing

Corrupted Ancient orb
- 50% chance to destroy the item and leaving 3-5 Ancient Shard in its place
- 30% chance to reforges a unique equipment as another of the same item class
- 20% chance to Reforges a unique equipment as another of the same item class Double corrupting the unique.

Drops as rare as a Devine.

Corrupted Binding orb
- 50% chance to upgrades a normal item to a rare item with up to four linked sockets
- 30% chance to upgrades a normal item to a rare item with up to five linked sockets
- 20% chance to upgrades a normal item to a rare item with up to six linked sockets and also corrupt the item.

Corrupted Engineer's Orb
- 50% chance to improves the quality of a Strongbox to 25%
- 30% chance to improves the quality of a Strongbox to 35% and corrupt the box
- 10% chance to consume the Engineer's orb and add 1-100 corruption
- 10% chance to upgrade the Strongbox to a unique Strongbox

Corrupted Regret orb
- 50% chance to grant two passive skill refund point
- 20% chance to grant three passive skill refund point
- 5% chance to grant five passive skill refund point
- 5% chance to grant ten passive skill refund point
- 20% chance to do nothing

Corrupted Unmaking orb
- 50% chance to grant two atlas passive skill refund point
- 10% chance to grant tree atlas passive skill refund point
- 10% chance to grant four atlas passive skill refund point
- 10% chance to grant five atlas passive skill refund point
- 20% chance to do nothing

Corrupted Oil
You can only corrupt Opalescent Oil to make corrupted Oil.
Corrupted oil counts as all 3 when used and as all colours.
You choose the anointment you want
- 60% chance to get the chosen anointment
- 30% chance to get a random anointment
- 10% chance nothing happens

Corrupted Scouring orb
- 50% chance to remove all but 1 modifier
- 30% chance to remove all modifiers
- 20% chance to consume the item for 1-100 corruption

Drops as rare as a Chaos.

Corrupted Sacred Orb
- 50% chance to randomises the numeric values of base defences on an armour
- 30% chance to randomises the numeric values of base defences on an armour and corrupt the item
- 10% chance to max roll the numeric values of base defences on an armour
- 10% chance to consume the item for 1-100 corruption

Corrupted Blessed orb
- 50% chance to max roll the values of the implicit modifiers of an item
- 40% chance to consume the item for 1-100 corruption
- 10% chance to max roll the values of the implicit modifiers and add 10% more of the implicit

Drops as rare as Chaos orbs

True Vaal orb
Double Corrupts items randomly like an alter would do.
- 50% chance when used on currency to turn them into their corrupted counterpart
- 50% chance when used on currency to destroy the currency adding 1-100 corruption
