Catalysts do not apply correctly to Eyes of the Greatwolf

So what's happening here is that the catalyst is only applying to the base of the item, and then the implicit is adding the base again. So it's working out to be 16*1.2 + 16 rather than 16*1.2*2...

Yes, the doubling is the same as 100% catalyst as show in the first screenshot. So adding the catalyst makes it 120%. Talisman league was before catalysts or tainted catalysts were added so the wording was never updated.
Thanks for your report, I'll pass this on.

Do you mean it looks like it is intended or? Because considering Jatin answered... means he is not sure either. :D

But it all depends on how they see these as more or increased for consistency.
So if the catalysts are increased and the explicit means "more"....

Then it would be 32 * 1.2 * 2 indeed.
If both are considered increased, then it is working as intended.

Right?

Aside from that it is stating "Multitudes"...very weird wording. (Could be me, not native English)

I'm always happy to be proven wrong. But I saw the same bug reports last league when Tainted catalysts were introduced and this first was noticeed. Nothing was changed then or GGG missed the posts, so I could only assume that as working as designed.

If the doubling does happen after, would mean a lot of people be really happy with their talismans getting buffed as there are a lot of builds that use it. And probably opens up more viable.. uhh, that one temple belt that triples as that should be re-worked to be post-catalyst as well (360% instead of 320%).

At the very least, will be nice if they change the wording to create less confusion for other people before they spam tainted catalysts expect the same outcome you expected. Not sure how they could change the wording though to be less confusing if this is intended. Just remove the double line and make it inherent to the implicit?
Staffer replied does not mean it is a bug. He just pass the report to the right department to look at it.

The wording is consistent (meaning increased) with any other modifier the grants increased effect, including Eyes, String of Servitude, and the gradient increased effect stats of the Heist jewellery. Working as intended would be how the devs designed it to work, not what you expect should work. Learn to be flexible with your ideas.

If anything, it's correct by definition, because the double affects the base value of the implicit, which isn't directly changed by catalysts.
