M2 iPad Pro
Does Path of Exile run on the M2 iPad Pro or on the M1 iPadAir?
This is what Copilot says: Path of Exile, the popular action RPG, is indeed available for Apple Silicon Macs, including the iPad Pro M2. The game has been updated to offer native ARM support for these models, which means you can play it directly on your iPad Pro without any compatibility issues12. To install Path of Exile on your iPad Pro M2, follow these steps: Download: Obtain the game by downloading the .dmg file. Install: Open the .dmg file and drag the Path of Exile folder into your Applications folder. Launch: Start the game by launching it from within the Path of Exile folder. It will patch in a full download of the game. Enjoy your adventures in the world of Wraeclast on your powerful iPad Pro M2! 🗡️🛡️🌟 Last bumped on Apr 11, 2024, 2:44:44 PM

POE the game is written for Intel-AMD code base (x86-64).
Neither M1 or M2 are based on x86-64, so good luck on believing Apple's false advertising on running every Windows program in emulation Get an older Intel-Mac plus Nvidia 40 gen may have better performance, or just buy a Windows PC This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. People play PoE on their ARM based Macs, including the M1, M2 and M3 processors. That is not what is being questioned here, that is just a fact that PoE does run on Mac's M silicon ARM processors.
What I am asking is, since those Macs can run PoE, how do we run it on the ARM based iPads like the M1 iPadAir or M2 iPad Pro? Same Mac M silicon? Also, I do have a PC with an i9 and an RTX 4070Ti, it runs PoE great, but I would also like the convienience of playing it on my iPad Pro with the ARM based silicon that it is known to run well on. So, back to my original question: Does Path of Exile run on the M2 iPad Pro or on the M1 iPadAir? How do we install it? |
