Essence/Scarab Farming

Hello, I have a problem with my strategy about essence and scarab farming in low tier maps. At first I wasn't doing this strat. but after I started it I realized some strange no-drop reaction from essence mobs. This is what I do I open a volcano map with 2 essence scarab with additional essence and one scarab of ascent after I opened the map I looked at the season mechanic if there are any quant or rarity mob if there is then I use allflame ember of syndicate whichever I have assasin,guard etc. Then I go into the map and run my essences but if the essence mobs are the ones replaced with the allflame mobs which should drop scarabs and when I kill them they drop nothing. Like literally nothing not any piece of gear or anything just emptiness. I tried this so many times and I realized if they are not replaced as an essence mob they work usually. Also I tried different allflame mobs like the ones drops tattoos. They work normally and they drop my essences. ı don't know if there is something that triggers this interaction or it is just a bug. I don't know. Therefore, I need help I used too many scarabs until I realized this and I think it greatlly decreased my income. Also I can share my atlas tree if needed.
