I can't leech AND recover in some maps even without the mods for not doing it.

Hi! Can someone explain why the heck TWO of my ascendancies are not working in some maps? I lost lots of EXP and there's no reason for my leech from Soul Drinker AND my ES from Polymath not getting recovered. What is happening? Is this a bug or Im missing something obvious? I've searched a lot and this seems no sense.

Since you have Ghost Dance, if your ES isn't recovering, check your Evasion Rating.

Your ES cannot recover above your Evasion Rating, which can easily tank to 0 if you take a Searing Exarch altar with a -3000 Evasion Rating downside since it is a flat modifier to your Evasion Rating, before modifiers like %increase and %more are applied.
