Path of Exile 1 Gameplay Help and Discussion - Vengeance gem change in 3.24 - Forum

So in the thread about gem changes in 3.24 there is a line about Vengeance and other trigger attacks that got "You can't use this skill directly" removed and yet in the game it still couldn't be used, trigger only, is there something wrong or i just got it wrong about that i can use it as a normal attack? Recently Asked Questions " Those old descriptions were leftover from a previous implementation and haven't been necessary for many years, and were inconsistently applied to skills/supports. In 3.24.0, the actual skill popup for a triggered skill will specify that it can't be used directly because it is triggered, and if it is disabled due to having multiple triggers on it, that will also be clearly communicated now, where before it was not.
