Artillery Ballista of Cross Strafe - Was this tested????
So I was about to make a new character and try Artillery Ballista of Cross Strafe.
The Projectiles do not overlap and are side by side from what I can see. I can't ENTIRELY see because the targeting is straight scuffed. It doesn't target enemies with the center of the firing but at the edge which at worst misses entirely and at best has 1-2 hits depending on the weird rotation of the cross. The cross is rather inconsistent in how it fires, basically rotating the cross every time it fires in a very confusing firing pattern. Conc effect doesn't help because they keep the same projectile distance from each other and it still targets + rotates awkwardly while firing. I truly don't mean to be rude, but I thought the point of less transfigured gems this time around was to nail down the quality?? Two duds this league that are just NOT viable. (The other being Kinetic Blast of Clustering, which also has single target issues). Thankfully these appear to be the only two with such significant design issues, the rest either being good or underpowered (which is still more quickly fixed) The idea of it hitting and landing in a cross is fine, but the hit pattern needs to be consistent and trying to have all the projectiles overlap on the target, not have the first projectile hit the target (if even) and all the others miss entirely. You guys stated during 3.23 you would be more aggressive with balancing & fixing these after a launch, not leaving things broken until following league. Didn't see too much of mid balancing last league, please keep your word. Thanks for all your hard work.
