Proximity shield monsters should not appear in Blight

Builds which can reliable do blights are not the ones which go in and hit face. Meaning that a bunch of proximity shield monsters can create a massive wave that literally turns the game into a slideshow. I've had less than one frame per second. Every such slowdown was caused by proximity shield monsters.

An already unpopular league mechanic made nigh unplayable every time a certain mob shows up. And for what?

Burning ground meteor tower ring enchant is a superb counter to those. They may be immune to the meteor impact, but they will die from the DoT on the ground.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley
Combine Prox shield with any sort of life regen/leech + divine aura and you have a recipe for massive lag in any league mechanic.

Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks

I never actually build any towers. The mechanic is already annoying enough, guess I have to fight one annoyance with another. At least towers don't drop my frames to below 1 per second
They can be trouble one,but they are not break the game. In prev league i was easy deal with them on poison srs.

There's a typo in the OP. I'm pretty sure you meant to say that proximity shield monsters should not appear in the game.

It would be an annoying enough modifier if it actually worked in any sensical manner... but it doesn't. The Rules for what does and doesn't ignore the shield are so comically arbitrary that no new player has a chance of figuring them out by applying any kind of logic.

Such as: Cast raging spirit and a homing fireball flies through the shield and attacks the enemy dealing damage. Cast volatile dead and a homing fireball flies through the shield and blows up on the enemy and does no damage.

Such as: Cast Frostbolt and watch it fly through the shield but deal no damage to enemies inside. Cast soul rend and watch it fly through the shield and deal full damage to all enemies inside.

Such as: use a melee skill with range exceeding the shield radius such as 2h axe cyclone. You are literally making direct weapon to enemy contact and dealing no damage.

Such as: Stand inside the proximity shield and cast storm call or firestorm. Watch the "projectiles" clearly come from outside of the shield and go through the shield and deal full damage.

Such as: Throw mines inside of proximity shield and detonate them to deal no damage to enemies. Throw mines outside of proximity shield and stand inside it to donate, and now they do damage.

And believe me, I have many more examples.
