The boss was Possessed with Cannibal's Grip, Witnessed by Maven, and Divine Vessel buffed. Once the boss reached 75% hp, he activated his cold aura but did not phase, becoming undamageable.

Had similar issue with becoming invincible at around 35% with 3 essence mods.
