Veruso´s Ambition - Buff stays after swap

The boots (Veruso`s Ambition) give u Lvl 20 Ravenous Skill where u get 15% damage and def buff against the monster type u "eat" but the buff stays after i swap my boots back. Is this intendet?

It says the buff persists until you leave the area.
