Phase Run + Automation
First i'd like to say i know this is the wrong forum but i cant create a new thread in the other one.
I'm using the Automation Suport linked to Phase run movement skill but its not triggering +2 projectiles from Beltimber Blade. I tested using phase run without automation and it works fine and triggers the +2 projectiles from blade. Not sure if its a bug or intented though. Last bumped on Apr 9, 2024, 8:54:44 AM

" This is just you being unaware of basic game mechanics. Triggering isn't "use", "use" is an active action. It's pretty basic if you think about it. Automation as a whole can be a problem if you don't use such wording, OBVIOUSLY. Reward the player for doing stuff manually, otherwise the game goes to shit even more. it requires YOU to use that skill, but you not using PR,automation does. same with mana mastery 10% mana guard skill thingy.

GGG NEEDS TO CORRECT THIS. Automation + phase run does not activate Beltimber projectiles

Unfortunately as people have said, from the wiki,
https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Automation "While this skill is active, supported spells will be repeatedly triggered." https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Trigger "When skills trigger, they aren't used, cast, or attacked with. Accordingly, effects like when you Use, when you Cast, if you've Attacked, etc. will not work with triggers." https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Beltimber_Blade "Skills fire 2 additional Projectiles if you've used a Movement Skill Recently" So this behaviour is correct. It may be irritating - I'd maybe miss it if I was playing Splitting Steel again - but it is correct. If I was playing Splitting Steel again, I guess I'd just Flame Dash or Leap Slam every <= 4 seconds, which I often do anyway. |

It promotes wrist pain or you can automate it and die a lot more than manually controlling it. This is why people are so mad about LMB instant skill removal.
