Heist

Hey guys , on the new atlas passive tree almost every mechanic ha its % chances doubled and you can guarantee a mechanic to appear in your maps. I wanted to pick up Heist to get Smugglers cache in my maps, picking up all the " % to contain smuggler cache" node on the tree you can reach 40% chance for them to appear in your maps . I was wondering if this is an oversight or you thought it would be too strong for it to bee guaranteed every map. Cheers

Maybe , but Packed with energy is just as powerful but still made it through which is def as powerful as Huck can be , it's just odd especially seeing that there isn't a heist scarab , it greatly reduces access to the contet compared to other available options
The contracts and markers which come from the smuggler's caches are highly liquid and take almost no time to collect. If you were able to guarantee them on every map, the market would be flooded and Grand Heists would cost nothing to run.

Basically, they are unlike other mechanics because they are one-click-and-done content. Farming them is already quite profitable, even if they aren't on every map.


Heisting itself, however, is in a much sadder state. I'd be surprised if markers didn't drop in value. The loss of contract implicits slowed the heist gameplay loop to a crawl and, what's more, from my preliminary testing (50 Grand Heists), the reward room loot has been significantly nerfed. Obviously more testing is needed, but I regret league starting a heist character at the moment with how unrewarding the mechanic feels.

A single div is my best pull in nearly 200 Grand Heist wings. This was impossible in earlier leagues.

wow?!

I recall last league being like 2 garbage wings, then a 15 chaos curio then
2 or 3 more garbage wings (where i dont even break the glass) then a tailoring orb! I would expect base on my luck last league that in 200 gh wings youd
probably have a few raw divines, maybe a hundred raw chaos and several tailoring / tempering orbs + several alt items.

last league id get a tailor/temper every 20 gh wings at least! maybe 1/5 - 1/10 wing runs.

did it get nerfed again or are you exaggerating your bad luck?

edit: Mlvl matters a lot in heists. an mlvl 68 gh might drop crap
compared to an mlvl 83 heist / gh.
