No Bane as quest reward after Lost in Love (Ruthless)?

Has Bane been removed as quest reward for Lost in Love in Ruthless?
I can't seem to choose it, and haven't read anything about it being removed, so unsure if it is a bug or a new feature? ;) Last bumped on May 13, 2024, 4:30:37 PM

Are you playing Scion, Shadow or Witch? Those are the only classes that got it afaik. Currently running with Templar, so can't check myself today.

Made a witch in HC SSF Ruthless and can confirm, no Bane as reward. Also no more Convocation, which is another bummer. Like, give us even less reasons to play this mode, right?
Ruthless currently serves no purpose. It doesn't manage to recreate the feeling of playing the beta, because the beta never was a slog like this. It was hard, but it rewarded the player at the same time. There are no rewards in Ruthless, I went to Act3 on a 1-link with 0 uniques found. Talk about an exercise in futility. |

Seems strange. I haven't seen any mention of them being removed in patch notes or anywhere else. I wonder if it is a mistake. I'll try posting it as a bug and see if I get a reply.

Ruthless mode does not give any gems as quest rewards. You also cannot buy gems from the vendors. This has been the case since Ruthless mode was first added to the game.

Can confirm Witch, which would normally give it isn't a reward any longer, have to get to the library now.. which tbh doesn't change anything other then you get bane slightly later...you just pick up one of the hexes instead...it seems pointless. dont understand why it was removed..
