Immense latency spikes, Amsterdam server

Since the update on march 30, 2:50AM I am getting massive lag spikes while normally I have at most 10ms ping
but then at random some instance's will have me hover anywhere from 60 to 4000ms ping and if I'm unlucky it reaches high enough to instantly disconnect me.

I have been unable to complete my first lab for more then 6 times due to this, even got to the chest room and got disconnected when I was half a screen from the ascendancy point.

it's really frustrating especially since I was having so much fun the evening before.
