Call to arms support feedback
|
Alright, short form feedback time.
You can automate any amount of instant skills with automate support. But call to arms limits you to only one warcry? And ALL other warcry share a CD. So you can't say automate one and manually do another. Why can't it just stagger casts on CD like automation support? That's very very frustrating, like Way to just shatter our expectations with the reveal triggering 3 of the things. Idk I'm just bummed. I feel quite let down. Last bumped on Apr 4, 2024, 12:11:08 PM

" 100%, this interaction didn't even seem incredibly powerful in the slightest, but we can't even have a single league to try it out. I can't understand how so many overpowered skills/interactions make it into the game each league, but were so scared to buff melee even slightly. Its way too disappointing |

completely agree. please give us the version that was originally shown. if it's too strong for whatever reason, then give it x% reduced cooldown recovery rate per linked warcry or something so that it requires investment, but don't just completely yank it away from us after promising it in the league reveal.
i was excited that i could finally play a melee build without killing my fingers, and with the sudden change they've stated, that premise is entirely gone. |

I Agree with the post above me, this is the WORST way to nerf this support because it will make no actual melee warcry build use it because it
severely limits their options. IDEAL NERF: -Keep old multi-cry functionality -increase the cooldown penalty by like 30% at least (or scaling with linked gems as mentioned above me) This alternative nerf basically means there's still a new build path that wasn't available before, all you really have to do is make it have more opportunity cost making the gem a bit more of a meaningful choice, especially if you aren't invested in cdr at all (nerf to spell casters abusing warcry). Now you have a reason to stack warcry cdr from those new tattoos, skill tree, and invest in a build component that wasn't really taken advantage of. I want to bump this up for the new text on the support, was kinda hyped to be able to proc several warcries from the new Call to Arms gem. Oh boy was I tricked into happiness
Now I just don't feel like playing the league, this combined with the fact that it is a "spell" just makes my first idea of trying something with Gruthkul's pelt a total disaster. I mean, of course warcries have everything to do with 'spells' since supported warcies are 'magic' +1 socket for automated warcry? no thank you! |

DISAPPOINT, warcries are weak already, you'd better delete all warcries and this new gem at all.

Initially they actually allowed it to proc all war cries but changed it for reasons I simply do not understand. This heavily disadvantaged 2H melee skills which frankly need war cries more than any other skill. Mages always have an advantage over melee in this game and I simply don't get why that is.
