Title: GPU Utilization Not Showing for PoE on macOS with M2 Chip - Assistance Needed

Hello everyone,

I've encountered an issue while running Path of Exile on my MacBook Pro with the Apple M2 chip and 24 GB of RAM. I noticed that my performance monitor indicates N/A for GPU utilization during gameplay, which seems unusual.

Here are the details of my setup:

MacBook Pro: 13-inch, M2, 2022
RAM: 24 GB
In the performance monitor snapshot while PoE is running:

CPU Time: 16 ms
Memory Usage: 5.1 GB
VRAM Usage: 1.5 GB
GPU: N/A
Despite the game running reasonably well, I'm puzzled by the absence of GPU usage data. Is this a known issue with macOS versions of PoE on the M2 chip, or could it be a compatibility problem with my performance monitoring tool?

I would appreciate any insights or suggestions on the following:

Confirming whether PoE's macOS version has a known issue with GPU usage reporting on M2 chips.
Recommendations for alternative performance monitoring software that accurately displays GPU usage on macOS with an M2 chip.
Any shared experiences or solutions from other Mac users who play PoE.
Thank you in advance for your help and guidance!

Best regards

In addition to my previous post about the missing GPU utilization data, I’d like to add some observations regarding the thermal performance and in-game experience:

Shortly after launching Path of Exile, my MacBook Pro's temperature increases significantly, with the fans spinning up aggressively to compensate.
Despite the system's efforts to cool down, there is noticeable in-game lag, especially during scenes with intense graphics and numerous monsters.
The frame rate is quite unstable. While it aims for 60 FPS, it often drops to around 30 FPS, making for a suboptimal gaming experience.
These issues are most prominent during combat scenes where abilities are used extensively, suggesting that the game might be demanding more from the system than what is reflected in the performance monitor.
This drop in FPS and the thermal response of the MacBook suggests that the GPU is indeed being utilized, but I'm not able to confirm this due to the lack of data. I'm concerned about the long-term effects of such high temperatures and also the immediate impact on my gameplay.

If anyone has experienced similar issues or has any suggestions on how to improve performance and thermal management on a MacBook Pro M2 while playing PoE, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thx a lot!
I wanted to provide screenshots of my performance monitor to give a clearer picture of the issues I'm experiencing with Path of Exile on my M2 MacBook Pro, but it seems I'm unable to attach images to the post.

Has anyone else encountered this limitation? If so, how have you managed to share visual data or overcome similar challenges on the forums? Any advice on alternative ways to convey this information would be greatly helpful.

Additionally, if anyone has faced similar performance and thermal issues as described in my original and supplementary posts, I'd be keen to hear your experiences and any potential solutions you've discovered.

Looking forward to your insights!
