Spirited Walker Mod Monster takes no damage

Hi There,
Not even sure this is a bug but I can't find any information about it. I encounter some eater mobs, they look like just those octopus things. It is a blue pack, just 1 mod. Spirit Walker. They basically don't take damage from my penance brand. I don't have any screen shot of the mob or the map mods as I just died on my last portal. Just happened to me aswell on a sanctuary, with my vaal sparker

Just had a friend of mine kill it with righteous fire. They seem to be immune to HIT SPELLS. The basic attack (the one with a sword icon) did damage to them.
