Righteous Fire sudden random huge drop in hit points and energy shield in hideout
This is bug reference report 2,907,568,777.
In my hideout (and in maps), I suddenly and inexplicably drop a huge amount of life and energy shield. This only happens when righteous fire is turned on. My regen for both causes them to rise back up to full over time with righteous fire (RF) still turned on. I thought it might be the 5% chance to do double-damage on my 1h weapon, so I crafted over that and it's still happening. I took three screenshots in game after making the /bug report, one shows the ES and mana dropping. The second shows the health dropping. The third shows the bug report reference number. I'm using defiance banner, haste, grace, determination, mageblood, quicksilver flask, granite flask, jade flask, diamond flask, vitality aura, and I leave a trail of scorched ground when I move due to searing exarch implicit modifier on boots. I'm using Sanctuary and Pious Path on the ascendancies. Can you please check logs and see why I'm suddenly and randomly dropping a huge chunk of life in my hideout and then regenerating it again? I assume this is on the Inquisitor. Pious Path linger is only for 4 seconds so if you move constantly for 4 seconds without stopping, blinking, charging, casting etc.. you will lose the effects of Consecrated ground which is regen for both your life and ES. Once you stop to perform any action, you are stationary again and then your regen for both kicks back on.
This is a very common "bug" that people encounter on their first regen Inquisitors. You just need to weave in shield charges/blinks at intervals to keep up the effects of regen. Most of my Inquisitors I usually just traveled with Shield Charge to maintain the effects. This was my first league with Mageblood so for my Inquisitor I instead just make sure I casted Penance Brand or Frostblink at least once every screen or so to passively make sure it stayed on. |

I thought it might be that.. but...
It happens while I'm not touching the keyboard or mouse. My character isn't moving, the consecrated ground icon is in effect and no 4 second countdown timer is present. Thus, not an issue with consecrated ground going away. |

Then I would suggest to record video containing both sustain and not sustaining life/es while stationary.
At quick glance of your character you're not making use of regen suffixes on gear, max res, ruby flask, regen flask, or other major sources to help mitigate the RF self-damage. So losing life/es is not surprising while not on conc ground, your main source of regen, is the only thing that fits for me. |

Main source of regen is Vitality aura. I do have some things in passive tree that add regeneration.
My regeneration is listed at 850.5 per second for life and 850.5 for energy shield per second. Here's my build. https://pobb.in/1DmSXmsZU7Np |

Only 355 of that life regen is from Vitality. It only converts to ES regen while on conc ground.
While on conc ground, you get another 250 life regen and all of your 850 life regen is an extra 850 ES regen. You have 0 ES regen while not on consecrated ground with your current gear. In total you are taking 1250 degen from RF split between life and mana/es. For comparison, with more investment into max res, ruby flask, regen on flask, etc.. you can push it at low as 500, meaning you have more excess regen for recovery. I'm down to like 300 with far more positive life/es recovery. You can even simulate the difference in PoB by ticking on normal RF degen and see you are negative life/es/mana regen while not on consecrated ground. As soon as you tick on that you are on consecrated ground, all 3 go positive. -629 net recovery goes up to positive 471 just from conc ground. |

I think what's happening is a lag spike makes it think that I'm not on consecrated ground, so I get a huge life hit almost instantly out of nowhere. Then once the lag is gone, it recognizes the consecrated ground and goes back up again.
It's really strange to watch. Maybe if I fix my lag the issue goes away. |
