Loss of Character AND all GEAR

Seems that I did a map that I shouldn't have and have lost my character as well as all of the gear he was wearing and carrying. now I understand that when the map was done and if the character died on the map the character would be lost but NO WHERE did it say that all of the gear that I worked so hard to put together was going to be lost as well.

The second point is when the map was activated it gave the standard amount of portals to utilize, but I was only able to access one, this made me believe that it would actually have all of those chances as normal to complete the map and then consequences would be there at that time this was not right.

All I am asking for is at least the gear returned, these types of maps are not explained anywhere and should have a better system of just asking yes or no

They're not going to restore your items as per their policy. Gotta read them map mods!

reading something and then NOT finding any information on it was really helpful, in all my years of gaming I have never seen a company do this to someone unless they are underhanded

Reading a pop up box that tells you that your character will be sent to the Void on death and then clicking "OK" on that box and entering the map...well.
If you did not understand what would happen, then why did you click OK?

The number of portals is of no consequence in this. It is purely Void on death that is the issue.

Void league = that character complete with all equipped items is lost forever.

Again as in my first post it never stated anything about gear

It didn't have to. Any character that ends up in any type of Void league over the past 12 years or so of PoE has always ended up in the same state - fully-geared and completely inaccessible for ever after.

Nothing will ever be restored or returned.

It gave you 6 portals because you can also alt f4 if you think you are gonna die and still have 5 chances to beat the map. Or a full party of 6 can go in.

Your logic is not sound at all with this. Let alone the fact of the giant popup that happens before you enter the map explains everything quite clearly.
