Skeleton mages from Legacy Dead Reckoning jewel do not benefit from spell or projectile supports
The skeleton mages from the legacy Dead Reckoning jewel and a default Summon Skeletons gem do not benefit from pierce, greater multiple projectiles or spell echo supports despite still using a projectile to deal damage.
(I can't tell if they are spells simply from looking, but they split upon hitting an enemy cursed with Sniper's Mark so they are absolutely a projectile.) The mages created by the default Vaal Summon Skeletons gem do benefit from the above spell and projectile support gems. Not sure what have you done on your build, mine is doing fine with spell echo with normal version Summon Skeletons (but not for Vaal version)

"I've just looked at some older videos for Dead Reckoning skeleton mages, and tested with a faster casting support instead of the spell echo and it seems like the minions never had the double cast, just the increased cast speed. Which is interesting. I guess I just remembered it wrong back from when I first played the build. Thanks for responding.
