Petrified Blood and getting Stunned

I did not see this discussed anywhere, but it inherently makes sense:

I've been playing a Petrified Blood build this league, and just so happened to not build any stun-immunity into my build. Nevertheless I found that I'm very rarely stunned.

To a significant aspect that comes down to killing things before they can hit me - but even then it seems uncannily rare. Then it struck me: Petrified Blood effectively doubles my getting-stunned-threshold.

Is this thought accurate?

Your stun threshold doesn't change, but the hit is lowered by 40% so of course you'll get stunned less. :)
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
Yea, that is what I mean - my practical stun threshold is higher.
Petrified Blood has no effect on how frequently you get stunned. Petrified Blood only changes how much life you lose from hits, which is entirely unrelated to stun calculations. It does not at all affect how much damage you take, which is what matters for determining stun.

Thank you Mark! That is a bit unexpected. Though I guess it makes sense, as the skill text says it prevents life loss. Colloquially I(we?) think of it as a less damage multiplier - but it is actually distinct.
