Uul-netol's kiss vaal axe disaster

This axe seems decent on paper until you look at the base attack speed. That combined with all the reduced attack speed modifiers on slam supports -> Pulverise 0.85, melee phys 0.9, base slam skill gems 0.8-0.9. It makes this axe unusable. Removing the reduced attack speed would make it playable, while it still would not be best in slot weapon.

That is something I am completely fine with. I am just not fine with slams at 1.3 attacks/s. You need to hit 1.8-2.5 for smooth gameplay experience. You can easily hit 1.8 with Karui chopper, which hits wayyy harder, removing this attack speed penalty would push the weapon from 0.98 to 1.15, which would make this weapon playable. If you don't believe me using this axe is terrible player experience, goahead buy it and try to play with it for a day and than go and play with 1.15 attack speed weapon for another day.

The axe was buffed in 3.21, but sadly they kept this atrocious attack speed, so I wanted to point out, why it is still used by nobody even in early game.

they have 'reworked' them not that long ago (2 patches?) and while SOME breach uniques got usable, these two axes are just garbage without any potential. and because they require building around them - there is no reason for them to exist. noone will bother 'building around' axe that is worse than what 10 essences can give you

these two items, despite 'fun' design are 100% pointless filler that serve no other purpose than padding unique count

and it is a melee weapon, how typical

100% agreed. Karui chopper + contempt + bench craft 115%~ dmg is already better in many ways. I would use this only till I gear up or for leveling second char from 70-90~, so I could put all my points into defense/qol and still have the 200% increase from the axe.
