Idea that boosts skill gems to the next level of possibilities

The new gems in this season worked great in general, while I do miss enchantments from lab and didn't see the benefit of new gems overwhelming removed contents.

Not sure if GGG has some trackings or not monitoring if the lab updates actually fits the designed targets, but for me or anyone I know, we basically never visited the lab again for any other purposes after the 3 aspirants trials.

While it is fun to see skill gem to have alternative forms/shapes, and given that skill gems in mid-late game actually doesn't have any other uses but to dump for gemcutters prism, another idea just jumped out of my mind that we chould have brought this path into a brand new generation, that to ALLOW SKILL GEM QUALITIES TO RANDOMLY EMPHASIZE CATEGRALIZED EFFECT.

For example if the skill gem has a tag "physical", quality of the gem can randomize between:
- "% chance to impile"
- "% effect of impile"
- "% chance to bleed"
- "% increased physical damage"
- "% chance to deal double damage"

And for tag "strike":
- "target +0-1 nearby targets"

For tag "Melee":
- "melee attack range +0-0.5 meters"

For tag "projectile":
- "skill fires additional +0-% projectiles"
- "projectile travels % faster/slower"
- "projectile pierces +0-1 targeet"
- "projectile deals % increased damage to targets in far distance"

For tag "attack":
- "increase % attack speed"
- "incewase % attack damage"

For tag "elemental":
- "increaes % elemental damage"
- "Penetrate % elemental resistance"

So for example the skill gem "Smite", we might find it in dozens of forms like "increased aura effect"/"increased attack speed"/"Penetrate resistance"/"+2 target"/"chance to bleed" and so on.

Overral, we put skill gems into a situation that: the basic gem decides the form/shape of the skill, lab gems would provide alternative forms/tags for the skill, and qualities would then be used to extrimly expand the effect of the skill so that it actually opens up infinit possibilities for all differend kinds of builds.

And yet gem chests are now finally not junks any more.

Thoughts?
