Latency 20000
Today I've experienced multiple instances of latency problems. Most recent login I did nothing after logging in. I sat on my waypoint and watched my latency go up and down, from 250 to 20000. Then I was kicked to the main screen. This has been an issue all day and appears to be coming from the end of the chain.

This is the exact issue I have too. Game "freezes", ping keeps rising until hitting around 20000, then disconnect to the title screen. Couldn't even finish a single map like this.

if you see your latency graph go over 6000ms the graph is bugged, the game disconnects at 6000ms automatically and has done so for over 10 years (a lot of people crying for it to be adjusted down to prevent player deaths...not that it would work)
The graph seems to be working something similar to the launcher download display with time remaining, it is getting based off the current rate of download speed, so sometimes when you get a dip in dl speed the display bugs and the time remaining goes from minutes to days...i expect it is something simmilar with the latency graph where you are getting lag and it is increasing at a rate, the the graph bugs and just keeps on going. @OP your problem dose not look like latency at all The test shows that you have severe packet loss (marked in red) " At the end of it, it's 37% packet loss the ones showing higher are likely showing the effects of the 37% packet loss plus stuff from ICMP Deprioritization (which is a non issue, it just looks bad...i mean mine has it for almost all hops ranging from a few % to 40% but i don't lag freeze of stutter) Given where it occurring you would need to contact your ISP and then they would contact zayo Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1 Last edited by lagwin1980#2224 on Jan 27, 2024, 4:36:06 AM

" Thanks for the input. I thought it was latency because the graph went absolutely crazy, so I started logging with WinMTR to get these results. I'll attempt to contact my ISP about this. It just looks like the same sort of problem so many people seem to be having; a latency spike (or several) per their graph, and then a disconnect. I usually run on the Texas server, and this has been an issue there for some time with many people unfortunately. Hope this helps. |
