How do I log in?

I recently made the fatal error of overwriting my poe account with steam account and the email customer support was able to restore my account back.

My question is, after changing my password on the poe site how do I log into poe through steam as I did before? When I launch the game it prompts me to make a new character and when I try to login via poe it asks me if I want to connect my poe account to my steam account and I don't want to mess it up again.

So I go to manage connections--> secondary login connect steam? Then go through the email verification?

Hey m8,

I tried this but after it says: "You have been sent an email to finish linking your account. In order to proceed please follow the link in the email."

I click on the link GGG send but it says "resource not found - The resource you're looking for does not exist or has been removed"? Has anyone encountered this?
