New player Looking for Advice

Hello everyone,
This is my first league playing Poe and i enjoy it, but i seem to have trouble staying alive. I read a couple threads and did a POB since most of the time when someone is asking for help that is the first thing people asked. I would love some pointer on what to improve / change in my gear/skill/tree so i could easily farm maps 14 and up with some whisp. I'm able to do 11/14 with 2-3k whisp but i die 2-4 times per run (I'm currently doing 5-7 to get some xp). https://pobb.in/XH1nO1eW0ykK Thank you for taking the time to read this. Which character? I'm at work and can't look at POB.
I'm going to assume the Scion? Also are you using any kind of a build guide? If so which one? You have a Progenesis so you must have done something right along the way. Those aren't cheap. Last edited by Gulch#5697 on Jan 16, 2024, 1:02:03 PM

Here are some suggestions:
1. Flasks
The armour modifier on your 3 magic flasks doesn't benefit you. They do not stack and you have very low armour to begin with. I'd suggest you replace them with %evasion, %attack speed, %movement speed or %life regen.
2. Helmet
The benchcrafted armour/evasion mod on your helmet isn't that great. You should replace it with "8% physical damagen taken as fire damage" at your crafting bench. You can obtain this modifier from unveiling rare helmets droppt by Gravicious when adding Jun to your map.
3. Body armour
The physical taken as modifier on your body armour can roll 6%. Recraft it until you get 6% on both taken as fire and taken as lightning.
4. Spell suppression
Spell suppression is not capped yet. Put one skillpoint into the node next to "Quickstep" to solve this for now until you find a better solution.
 Later on you can remove the 3 points (Intuition + 10dex) and get a high spell supression roll on a piece of gear but that can wait until later (95+).
5. Life
Your damage is complete overkill for the content you should be running right now. I'd suggest you spec out of the "Wasting" cluster until you gain more levels and invest those points into "Constitution" and the life mastery "+50 to maximum life".
 
6. Recovery/sustain
This is a bit of a difficult issue to solve but for now I'd suggest you unspec "Atrophy" since you still have more than enough damage and spec into recoup "Circle of Life" and leech "Clever Thief".

" I swapped the tree points as you mentioned, i will work on the flask and try to get the enchant for damage taken as XYZ (i don't have them yet). It's because of this node.
 The issue is that you're not always on full life. Edit: It's not showing in PoB because you have to go to "Configuration" first and check the box "Always on full life". Last edited by Scarletsword#4354 on Jan 16, 2024, 1:56:59 PM
