Guild Leadership transfer process needs revamped
|
I play with a few IRL friends and over the years we play POE, stop for a bit, then come back. Currently myself and another friend have been playing a lot. We have 5 total people in our guild, our guild leader is going through a nasty divorce in a 50/50 state and is unreachable to switch over lead. We want to buy more guild stash tabs and give GGG money but only the GM can do this.
I emailed asking how a switch for an AFK Gm works and the first email told me they would reach out and to wait two weeks then recontact GGG support. Now after two weeks another customer service rep said I need to get a vote of every guild member. First off, how? 2 members are afk and 1 of them none of us talk to anymore. Also, why was this not mentioned two weeks ago so this could have been done? I can even see one of the members hasn't logged on since 2022. I emailed back asking clarification but am only given a form response, of "After all members vote we will reach out to you IF we can assist". This is possibly one of the worst guild transfer processes I have seen for any game I have ever played, I now feel like a moron for wanting to buy guild stash tabs especially this late into the league. Yes I can create a new guild but then I would have to rebuy all the tabs we already had. Anyone at GGG, please revamp this process, it is ridiculous to not have a ticket ID for this issue, so now I have to constantly reexplain myself, and no set procedure of what to send. Your customer service reps all seem to send generic messages and say "if" we can assist. TL DR: A guild transfer process doesnt exist which prevents GGG from more revenue and making an efficient process for players to enjoy their game. Last bumped on Jan 16, 2024, 11:25:08 AM
