Divine Flesh doesn’t work with Doriyani’s Portotype lightning dot mitigation

Hi,

I am running a doriyani’s portotype armour stacking build, I understand this build is vulnerable to lightning damage over time so I was exploring divine flesh to mitigate 50% of elemental dmg to chaos dmg taken.

Upon testing with low tier mineral pool map, I still died almost instantly from map boss’ lightning dot even though I am capped with 80% chaos resistances.

I also learnt that with or without divine flesh produced the same result, there isn’t 50% mitigation applied.

It seems divine flesh only mitigate hits from enemies but not damage over time.

Based on poe wiki, it should work with dot mitigation.

So is it broken or false information by poe wiki

Doryani's Prototype with Mahuxotl's Machination shield's Divine Flesh and Lethal Pride for Tempered by War doesn't work, looks like Armour also applies to Lightning Damage taken from Hits doesn't work either, video below

You are just guessing from map boss' damage

Also, your current character Tiktok_lbblssj does not have the keystone at all

If you're dying "almost instantly", I'm not entirely sure the difference between dying in 0.2 seconds instead of 0.1 seconds is going to be noticable.

AFAIK people using Divine Flesh with Doryani's Prototype get it from the Mahuxotl's Machination shield so they can use Lethal Pride for Tempered by War, so they no longer take any Lightning damage whatsoever.

fyi, i was using glorious vanity, this thread was exploring a possible bug that divine flesh is not working correctly. Machination shield with Lethal Pride for Tempered by War doesn't work either, I have updated video proof on top.

Please redo it with pvp, with an opponent only deal physical damage and no crit please.....
