Getting Possessed

I have selected "get possessed/monsters cannot be possessed" on my atlas tree but even when spirits are around none seem to like me enough join me. I even wear my best looking armor.

Is there a ritual or action I need to take to be captured?

If you could post a screenshot or link to your atlas tree, that would be great. Normally you just walk up to them and they do their usual possession animation.

Honestly I think that Keystone is bugged at this time, I actually crashed to desktop a few times with it so I decided to veer away from torment spirits for now.
Not saying that is your issue by any means, but something is just off about it.

I have not had any crashes from anything at all and certainly not since I grabbed that node.

Today it happened. I changed my ha, wore fancy socks and a big smile and I was captured and tormented as I hoped! It only lasted 20 seconds, but so worth it. Dance with me my love until the end of time!
