High Ram usage January 2024

I don't know what is happening to the game lately, but after the recent patch, the game is completely different regarding Game performance. Here is a screenshot of the Task Manager Memory usage:   I don't understand why the memory usage is not the same in realtime process monitoring. Last bumped on Jan 11, 2024, 11:12:17 PM

same for me...memory always goes up to 75-80%

it's a known problem that the game will eat all your RAM, you have to restart the game like every hour or so to unclutter your memory, i know this for a bout 4 leagues or so ... but the serversthis league oh maaan

I just had a look in TMgr and PoE has 12.7 GB commit size. This is more than double of what it was not so long ago.

Same, just starting the game up pushes it to bounce between 95-99% usage. It never took up nearly that much even with maxed out settings, and now, all of a sudden, the game is handling itself worse than Cyberpunk on Ultra settings.
Don't care what genie lamp you have to find, GGG, just please... Fix this so we can all play the game again! |

I see, I'm not the only one encountering this issue.
For now my workaround is just to close all other apps, it sucks cause I need to google from time to time since I'm new to the game. I hope GGG Devs do something about this, I know they are busy developing the POE2, but please don't stop supporting this game so early. |
