[Party play] kills credited to player wearing southbound + secret of suffering allocated
Player 1 (me) wears southbound + secret of suffering and is NOT able to kill enemies by himself (tested in the blood acqueduct): deals ONLY hit damage and not able to inflict damaging ailments/bleeding/chaos damage over time.
Player 2 plays a build with very little damage with culling strike and to my knowledge is not able to freeze enemies due to using elemental focus in the links of the main skill. When Player 2 kills enemies brought to 1HP due to the aforementioned interaction some of the kills are credited to the player wearing southbound (tested with /kills command). We tested this while using only main damage skills (no auras, no flame dash, no molten shell etc). Also, we think this may not be just a bug in the /kill command because player 2 has the "enemies killed by your hits are destroyed" axe mastery and when kills are credited to player 1 corpses matching the number of kills credited are left behind. Player 1: https://pobb.in/eoer6tbIFvF9 Player 2: https://pobb.in/aFCR45-EuQje Does anyone know what could cause this? or is it just a bug? Last bumped on Jan 9, 2024, 6:49:13 AM

We had the same issue. Our solution was to not use dread banner. It looks like there is a bug, where southbound gloves doesnt affect the passive from dread banner so that you are killing stuff.
When a hit applies impale to a target, 10% of that hit's physical damage is recorded before any damage mitigation is applied. Impale then deals the recorded damage to that target each time it is hit after that. A hit from any source will cause impale to deal damage. It does not have to come from the character who inflicted impale. Let's say the culler has hit 1000 damage, then 10% of that hit (100) is added to any other damage monster receives When the carry hits the monster with X damage, monster receives X+100 where these 100 are coming from impale debuff. Take dread banner out and it should be fixed. |
