Lags on EU Servers - Frankfurt, Milan, Amsterdam, London, Paris
I started playing PoE again fpr Affliction, but severe lags seem to occure like any 4th to 5th map I enter. I tried to follow your template for troubleshooting at my best, and will provide further information as and if GGG support demands so.
Details on problems you're experiencing, and if it's occurring when certain skills are being used, or in certain areas/situations I don't see a pattern. It's any random map instance I enter. Sometimes it's the map itself, sometime a Vaal Area, sometime my hideout, sometimes a town. If the area lags, it will not stop as long as I stay in this instance. While leveling, I could just leave a lagging area, creat a new instance, and in most cases the new instance was fine. Happens starting Act 1 up into the maps. Delve, Rogue Harbor. Lags can occure in any area. In labyrinth single maps, most time the bossfights, can lag, the next is fine again most times. Computer specs: CPU, GPU, RAM. AMD Ryzen 5 3600X NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 2x 8GB G.Skill RipJaws V DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Game Settings: Renderer, Triple Buffering, Multithreading, etc. And if changing any of these helps. Will follow, after the last issue I hit ALT+F4, took a walk to cool of and be constructive about this. Starting now, I will post a screenshot as soon as the issue occurs again. yeah, i notice it on last 3-4 days as well. Logging from Istanbul, i usually never have lag spikes at all. At league start day maybe, i get crashes, sure but weeks after start, and like unresponsiveness is crazy. Its not to the level of unplayable, but definately when spikes happen, your character's responds delays from half a second to 1.5 seconds. And it is continueous.

i have the same problems on eu servers (every eu sever). massive laggs with instant death... unplayable at this moment :(

I often get massive lag spikes recently. Average latency is about 20-40 ms, when lagging it reaches from 300 up to 10.000 (!) ms.
Usually worst in the evening, but sometimes even in other times of the day. Doesn't matter what server I choose. Latency in other games is perfect, Google DNS returns pings with 10 ms. FPS are at a constant 60 FPS. Doesn't matter if map is juiced or not. I just ran Stagnation map without any modifiers and got up to 3k ms again. Specs: Intel i9-12900k RTX 3070 TI 32 GB DDR5 RAM Any reaction from GGG on this? Game is unplayable like this, which is a shame after having like 900 hours on this. |

This problem persists for weeks now and you didn't do anything. The instance servers and routes are known to you, there are dozens of thread pertaining this problem. Now the easiesat fix (use a gateway on another continent or vpn lol) get less and less feasable as more people find out about it. Stack up your capacity pls. Current Build: Penance Brand

my WinMTR looks exactly the same...
always the last 3 - 4 addresses who have a packet loss about 30 % at first it was in rush hour times but by now its basically all the time |

its been like what a month into the league and no patch for this lag spikes and looooong loading times in towns ... the league seems fun if you can play ... maybe we didn't buy enough mtx xDDDDDDDD

I´ve had the same issue - are you guys using Magenta/Telekom as your ISP? Seems to be a routing issue with those specific server numbers. Apex had the same problem with their Servers to Magenta.
What worked for me: Using a VPN, had no lags since using a VPN. Before it was exactly the same issue u had. I´ve contacted the GGG Support ans asked is VPN is againts TOS - got the information it isn´t so atleast i works for now. |
