Kinda cringe that Abyss gives 5x the loot of any other League Mechanic

Somehow acknowledged, but not addressed.
It gives so much loot that you can barely call it randomised anymore.
Uniques, Currency, Maps, Scarabs, basically everything that youll ever need.

It's like this EVERY league... ppl find the thing that works the best and they run with it. There is always going to be the best thing you can do. There is no shot that GGG can vigorously test every scenario and perfectly balance all leagues together at the same time. Especially in the league cycle that they run.

The great thing about the current atlas is it allows you to do what you feel is fun. So if Abyss is cringe then just don't do it. Find something else you enjoy.

Yeah, in SSF doing what you like is good. In trade, loot is balanced around you trading. Which means if this league one mechanic produces marginally more currency + top chase uniques, you cannot progress if you don't hop on that train too. You may get some compensation effect by selling stuff from other content, which less people farm this league because they all busy on the main busted farm spot... But not enough. Inflation will eat your lesser income in other strats, you'll have trouble trading, and hence, progressing.

Maybe GGG did current affliction loot fiesta on purpose, as extra guarantee vs losing retention and to mask that this "yearly expansion" is nothing major content-wise.

Dude, look how many passives it cost too, and dont blaim that good mechanic with no box, but only belts and depths.

[Removed by Support] mf is s+-t, that need to be deleted from game(that censorship is very bullying)

But this isn't true at all. Chalk it up to you only playing Standard and not knowing how the economy works in temporary leagues, but it takes no expert to connect the dots between T1 and T0 uniques losing overall value but other mechanics increasing in price for goods since everyone runs Abyss.

Stuff like Blight oils, Ultimatum catalysts, Legion jewels and such went up in price drastically and smart players take advantage of this.

The less 'fortunate' whine on the forums.

I've literally accounted for that effect in my post, and difference is, all those supplies are needed once per build, except maybe harvest juice, scarabs and deli orbs. Yes, you can sell supplies for more now, but not more than wide river of raw currency generated by affliction + abyss or whatever other transmission vector of spawning loot pinata mobs.

There is also race factor, if you skip 2 days, you're lagging behind. If this is how "economy in temporary leagues" works, I am glad I "don't know how it works". Calling participating in this "fortunate" is like calling junior bank workers fortunate, you know, ones who are allowed 3-4 hours per 24 to ride home, take shower, change clothes, then ride back to work. And eventually die from heart attack.
A noobie can literally sit in t4 maps spamming einhar + essence and make a ton of cash because there's always a demand for these things.

More people running Abyss means less people running other content.

Thus, value of other content goes up.

Please at least check the prices on poe.ninja and how much e.g. Legion jewels went up in price, how stable income from catalysts is, bulk selling prices for Essences and whatnot.

Clueless what else I can tell you, I guess you are resilient to information that is contrary to your opinion

This isn't rocket science

Has it occurred to you that a balanced video game should not necessarily demand such aggressive interaction with community and economy? This isn't MMO, what about players entering trade league for the sake of party with their friends, not because they want to become trade sharks and look down on others?

Oh, right, they are all whiners, weak and unfortunate, as are starters of threads like this, right? And to become strong they should juice the shit out of affliction, or sit online at nights in fear of missing a catalyst trade?

Yes, it is normal when some content is more difficult and more rewarding than others, but as usual GGG has taken another extreme. Affliction loot is way overtuned, it shadows every other purpose logging into this game might have had.
Whatever you economy nerds are talking about doesnt stop my game from crashing when I press Alt.
There is something better than Abyss Legion with the mechanic.
Why am I still here
