How to improve the performance of 3.23

I've noticed that on the task manager my CPU is doing all the work and my GPU before any changes was 3%-13% at load with the changes GPU went to 40% load instead of of the CPU doing all the work

Turn on "windows hardware acceleration" on and also below it "optimization for windowed games" turned on.
if on laptop like me or got default CPU graphic's. make sure turn on both window settings and NVidia control panel/amd to choose the GPU you want on by default

Turn on prefer maximum power on NVidia control

Go on task manager on path of exile right click then details then right click on poe again and click on set affinity and untick few cores or more than half this helped with the CPU load when loading into maps from 100% to around 40%-80% which when at full load this could be main cause of dcs/crashes??? also helps the cpu load just by mapping

Disable both dynamic culling/resolution and switch to direct x12 beta
Try mess with the settings from low to high. im still testing it out

FPS/Resolution affects the performance drastically.. I always fps lock my games around 45 fps because of the noise level of fans and the temps..
However I've tested it out while at 35 FPS the CPU load goes from the 40-80 to 90+ and took longer to load into the map while I have the fps locked to 60 cpu load stayed normal and loaded lot quicker.. Also on the task manager having higher fps/resolution put more load onto the GPU instead of the CPU
The more fps the more better performance.

Im still shuttering not as bad though, At this moment I haven't had the game freeze on me or DCed yet still testing
Edit: Yep still freezing but as much as before where it was unplayable.

Other ways that may help
Disable all the sounds
instead of low count of channels for the audio set it high?
Changing the computer settings for CPU C-States aka here = https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/t1d01u/performance_guide_secrets_of_stuttering_h but this will generate more heat especially for laptop users
however it would ideally fix all the spikes and crashes.

Hopefully grinding gear games will fix the performance so we don't need to do anything like this again.


EDIT# Last result is changing the CPU C-STATES will update if it actually stops the freezing.

edit# Changing cpu states didn't do nothing for me at all.. hopefully it'll help you out
