Locked myself out of the Forbidden Sanctum by failing the initial run
So, here's what happened.
On my league starter I got the quest to enter the Forbidden Sanctum in act 10. But, I didn't really feel like doing it at the time, and I wanted the quest item out of my inventory, so I walked in and just ate hits until I got knocked out in the first room. Couple weeks later and I'm wanting to give the Sanctum an honest try (since I skipped the league) and quickly realized that I didn't have any relics that could fit in the single slot. I only have one two-slot relic but no way to do any runs to upgrade my altar to two slots. I asked in chat and people recommended I go back to act 10 and re-do Divinia's quest, but the quest is completed for me on my league starter and doesn't show up on my other characters either. I can buy another relic off trade and get in that way, but it's definitely not intentional that you can lock yourself out of a league mechanic like this, so I figured I should report it. Conclusion: You can apparently lock yourself out of the Forbidden Sanctum for the entire league if you intentionally fail the initial quest and can't buy a new relic due to being SSF. You aren't locked out of the Forbidden Sanctum for the league, you're only locked out until another Forbidden Tome drops. You can randomly get them in maps.
The relic altar only has one slot visible because you need to put in a Forbidden Tome to start a run. If you put in a fresh tome, the altar will update to show the slots where you can put relics, to lock those relics in for that run once you confirm to start. |

Are tomes just ridiculously rare then? I've been mapping for a week (86/115 on the atlas, level 92 character) and have yet to see a single relic.
