I have trouble to find it for my quest to get last charm slot and I dont know exactly what to do, I google it,watch videos on youtube and ask ppl in game,someone says I need to do 14 tier maps someones says I need 15 maps,someone says I need to follow wisps, doesnt matter what color,someone saywI need to follow only purple wisps someone say I dont have to follow wisps at all, wtf,nobody really knows how to find him I suppose.Is there some offical guide from developers how to find it? This is most confused league

Seems like the quest can be found at character level 80 in any Wildwood instance. A lot of folks have used Desecrated Chambers.
Since you have the quest, you need to be in a t13 or maybe t14+ map instance to get the fortress. (Yes, conflicting reports...) It seems to be quite random and I don't think 15 maps is a magic number. Some folks need a lot more. Look for 3 Dark Offerings in a triangle. When I've seen people find him, there was not an obvious trail of wisps, and some folks have reported finding it fairly close to your zone-in point. Good luck. |

finally found him, but in the maze wisps lead me to dead end and I died, what a lottery, really terrible league this one, hc players must have tough time

Do you need to have the quest to have it count as a kill before killing him? I killed him but didn’t have the quest yet… I’m wondering if it will count

T14 maps needed, the maze is fairly easy once you understand about following the wisp to the exit to Arena area #2.
Pretty sure you need the quest before it will count. ~ Mostly an SSF player.

It was said that the boss kill counts even if you don't have the quest yet.

" There are two versions of the King, right. I imagine the Stronghold version would count, but the random WW encounter probably doesn't. (Since the lower level version doesn't count even if you do have the quest...and this has been another point of confusion with the content.) |

" Yeah its not been great, its a decent league mechanic but some of the spikes you can take are enormous and the boss is a bit nebulous in general mechanics wise. Like I watched a fight guide before I went into the fight and had about 8 more mechanics than anyone else showed, now I was zdps obviously but Its still hard to get so many important mechanics down when some of them straight kill you. |

I am confused. Everyone (including videos) keeps saying that this is for their last points, but this is for my 3rd and 4th points. My first two were kill 500 monsters, and this is to unlock my first charm socket. Is mine bugged?
