Summon Skeleton's quality does not affect number of skeleton as per description
Just like the picture, I have a +2 to maximum skeleton summoned and a +1 to maximum skeleton summoned. But both gems let me summon 10 skeletons. So, in other word, a +2 has the same number of skeletons summoned as a +1 in quality. Is this a bug, or is it intended like that ? Last bumped on Dec 19, 2023, 6:37:38 PM

" In your case yes, but generally no. The maximum number of Skeletons you can summon depends on both the quality and the gem level of your Summon Skeletons gem. What you're seeing is that, because you have the right number of +minion skill gem levels, your 20/20 Summon Skeletons has the same max skeletons as your 21/12 Summon Skeletons. You have +4 to minion skill gem levels, and the max skeletons from the gem itself increases from 7 at levels 16-24 to 8 at levels 25-38. If you were to gain or lose an extra +minion skill gem level, you would see a difference in the maximum skeletons you could summon. You would also see a difference if you replaced it with a 21/20 Summon Skeletons gem (or, seeing as how your Ashes gives +27% quality, even with a 21/13 Summon Skeletons gem). |
