King of the Mists Deathless

I can't believe you have a new boss fight, new mechanics, some of which are one shot punishing, and you can't die because you can't get back into the Wildwood. This is horribly punishing and puts a really bad taste in my mouth. Please try to develop a way that we can get back to the realm if we go to the King of the Mists' stronghold.

You will play pseudo hardcore, whether you like it or not :) More and more softcore league content gains hardcore elements, never seen other game studios so hostile to their players. You develop hardcore content, you keep it inside hardcore mode . Disconnects don't help either.

You should try to get more phys and chaos reduction on your char or get more dps, dude

Don't run around in the forest after a carrot on a stick then. If GGG checks their data they don't care if u had fun or not. As long as you spend a lot of the time in the forest playing the game they did everything right.

I for one don't play that league mechanic(as in i run around with 6 ascendancy points and don't care about the challenges), because i think it's bad for different reasons. I still like the game in general, though.

Please, the boss is really easy once you realise he plays the "Red Light, Green Light" game with you. There's visual indicators both on your character as well as on your debuff bar. He's a lot like Kurgal in Delve in that the 2nd phase is defined by some mechanics you have to avoid, but his health bar disappearing very quickly.

If you have to, watch a guide on YouTube about the fight. But this boss is actually very well designed, has telegraphed attacks and there are many ways to counter his attacks.

If you die in the Wild Woods you don't get to go down there again either. Having 6 portals for that fight would make no sense, and frankly it is not necessary.

Learn the very simple boss mechanics or just don't play a zdps. Two easy solutions to your problem.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
I actually really like this boss. All of his telegraphs seemed perfectly fair to me, there were actual mechanics to figure out during each of his phases, and the visual clarity was a lot better than some other fights in recent memory. And aesthetically, I liked the use of wisps as part of the mechanics of both finding and fighting the boss. It makes the encounter a lot more... thematic, I guess.

If anything I'd like him to be a little harder? I went in completely blind and beat him with 5L Soulrend on my first try. I guess he's affected by map mods though, so I can see a few specific ones really jacking up the challenge level (Vuln would be particularly nasty, as would any form of recovery prevention).

It's a separate instance with no map mods, so you don't have to pay attention to any of that while rolling your maps.

OP is probably just salty he didn't get king on first try
